Milia are very small, white or yellowish bumps, known as cysts. These are filled with protein, keratin and most often seen around the cheeks, eyes, forehead and chest. They are often found in clusters and are harmless. This condition is really common and can occur at any age. It affects both men and women of all racial heritage and skin types. Extractions are very quick and relatively pain free and following treatment the milia will not return. Immediately following your treatment, skin may appear a little red and swollen at the treatment site. This is perfectly normal and will subside after a few hours. Milia aftercare will be advised on consultation/post treatment.
